“I live to play music - It’s the universal people mover, ” says Brooklyn born singer songwriter Peter Moon. “Making people dance, helping them get their happy on – That’s the greatest feeling on Earth!”
On his chest, he wears a Black Eyed Smiley face – the cover art from his most recent studio album and the symbol of his roll-with-the-punches approach to life.
“When the band is really rockin’, we can take you on a non-stop party ride to funky-town – or whatever town you’re trying to get to – All we gotta do is play the right song and ‘SHA-ZAAM’ – instant fun for everyone!”
Moon’s trademark is a soulful, passionate voice, fiery guitar work, a powerful rhythm section, and a truly remarkable versatility. “We play it all because we love it all – at a PMB show, you might hear James Brown, George Jones, Bon Jovi, Black Eyed Peas, Skynyrd, Zac Brown, Hank Sr., Sublime, Macklemore , Bob Marley, KC and the Sunshine Band, , Al Green, Eric Church, Elton John, and the White Stripes all in the same set!”
Moon’s original songs have graced big stages and small clubs all over America – he has played more than 150 dates a year for the last decade. His music has been featured on television, radio, indie films and even a Volkswagen commercial. He and co-writer Mary Frank have written and staged “Fix” – Nashville’s original Rehab-Rock Opera – a musical comedy/drama about recovery, featuring members of the Nashville in Motion Dance company and the Nashville Ballet.
