History of One Fourteen

One fourteen, located on historic Second Avenue in downtown Nashville, has a long and colorful history dating back to 1875. Initially known as Market Street, Second Avenue from Broadway to the Public Square was known as the business hub of Nashville for the last half of the nineteenth century. The block of Second Avenue between Church Street and Broadway, the only portion to survive substantially intact, contains buildings that exemplify the development of commercial architecture in the late nineteenth century, including one fourteen.

First Floor

Accommodates: 214 Guests

With a total estimated square footage of 3,687 sq. ft., the first floor is set with three distinct areas and a connection to the Wildhorse Saloon.

The Storefront serves as a welcome area or check-in/will call for concert buyouts. This space, along with the Tasting Room, can be utilized for receptions prior to concerts or for networking events paired with the Wildhorse.

The Tasting Room is most often utilized for intimate meal functions or private line dance instructions. When paired with a full building buyout, the Tasting Room is the perfect welcome area before heading to the 2nd floor for a wedding ceremony.

The Vault Room is utilized as a permanent boardroom. The “centerpiece” of this room is the built-in vault that is original to the building. This, coupled with the exposed brick and the view of the Cumberland River and Riverfront makes the Vault Room at one fourteen a unique and desired event space for executive meetings.
