Situated on the storied Second Avenue in downtown Nashville, One Fourteen boasts a rich and vibrant history dating back to 1875. Originally designated as Market Street, the stretch of Second Avenue extending from Broadway to the Public Square stood as the bustling commercial epicenter of Nashville during the latter half of the nineteenth century. Preserving its historical significance, the block between Church Street and Broadway remains substantially intact, featuring structures that showcase the evolution of late nineteenth-century commercial architecture—including the distinctive presence of One Fourteen.
